Tragic Accident: Woman Found dead With Gunshot Wound in a Single-Vehicle Collision in Vallejo, Investigation On- Going
VALLEJO
-Early of Friday, Vallejo police reported that a woman had been found dead from at least one gunshot wound following a single-vehicle collision.
About 12:27 a.m., reports of the collision and gunshots were made close to the intersection of Tennessee Street and Mare Island Way, according to the police.
According to authorities, the woman was discovered by herself in a 2005 white Honda Accord close to the intersection. After Vallejo firefighters extracted her from the automobile, she was declared dead.
Investigations are being conducted into the shooting’s cause and circumstances. According to authorities, this was Vallejo’s 17th murder of the year.
The woman’s identity is being kept secret until the Solano County Coroner’s Office notifies her next of kin.
