Olivia Robinson Obituary News: Victim and Suspect of Fatal Shooting at Downtown Newnan Business Identified
Olivia Robinson, 28, has been named by the authorities as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred at a downtown Newnan shop on Friday night.
The heirs have been informed. Following the incident at Oz Tactical, which is located at 1 E. Court Square, William Brannon Owens, 38, was taken into custody early on Saturday morning.
Owens is presently facing charges of murder and aggravated assault, according to Coweta County Jail officials.
Official confirmation of Owens’ involvement in the deadly shooting has not yet been provided by the authorities.
At 9:17 p.m., Newnan Police received a call reporting an unidentified problem at the store.
After a minute, dispatch reported a gunshot in the update to the call. Robinson, of Newnan, was found suffering from a gunshot wound when the officers arrived. When Emergency Medical Services (EMS) got there, Robinson was already declared dead.
The inquiry is still underway, and assistance is being provided by the Georgia Bureau of inquiry (GBI). As the case progresses, more information is anticipated, as no motive has been given.
