Police Update: 28-Year-Old Joshua Carter Charged With Second-Degree Murder in Connection to Terran Goode Death in Chesterfield Deadly Shooting

-In relation to a fatal shooting that happened on Saturday, the Chesterfield County Police Department has detained a suspect, according to authorities.
On Saturday, September 21, at around 4:25 p.m., authorities were called to the 7300 block of Hamner Terrace in response to a shooting incident.
When officers got there, they discovered Chesterfield County resident Terran Goode, 31, had been shot. Goode passed away instantly.
Following the inquiry, Chesterfield County resident Joshua Carter, 28, was placed under arrest for second-degree murder in relation to Goode’s demise.
Carter was taken into custody in Richmond on Sunday night, September 22, with assistance from the Capital Regional Fugitive Task Force of the United States Marshals Service.
Carter is being held in the Chesterfield County Jail without bond, according to Chesterfield police.
