Shooting: 16-Year-Old Teen Found With Gunshot Wound at Rear Parking Lot of 100 Susquehanna St. near Building D

BINGHAMTON

— On Monday, the Binghamton Police Department declared that it was looking into a shooting.

Around 11:20 p.m. on September 22, according to the Police Department, police responded to a complaint of a male with a gunshot wound at the rear parking lot of 100 Susquehanna St. close to Building D.

According to the agency, officers discovered a male victim, 16, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the thigh.

Officers treated patients medically until EMS personnel could get there. At the location, police discovered four.45 caliber casings.

The 16-year-old’s injury was not life-threatening, so he was sent to the hospital.

There was no suspect in the police’s case as of Monday afternoon.

Detectives are asking anyone with knowledge regarding the event to call them at 607-772-7080. The investigation into the situation is still underway.
