Shooting: 24-Year-Old Father Shot and Killed While Sitting With 1-Year-Old Son Outside Philadelphia Home
Philadelphia On Wednesday night, a 24-year-old father was shot and died in Philadelphia while spending time with his 1-year-old son.
It took place in the city’s Kensington district in the 3200 block of D. Street at around 6:30 p.m.
The victim, 24, was reportedly on his front steps when two assailants opened fire, firing roughly twenty-five rounds.
The victim’s head and chest were shot many times. After being brought to Temple University Hospital, he was declared deceased.
Police said the toddler had graze wounds on his head and legs.
According to a family member, the father might have been holding the infant when the shooting started, and he may have dropped him.
The suspects, who were all dressed in black, were seen on camera boarding a red scooter and taking off.
There have been no takedowns.
The victim’s identity is unknown.
In stable condition, the toddler was brought to a local hospital.
