Having graduated from Columbia City High School in 1991, Todd Reed was a graduate. Aside from his work in law enforcement, Reed had also served in the United States Army and resigned from that branch of service.

In 2019, he was assigned to the Fort Wayne District’s All Crimes Policing (ACP) unit, where he focused on stopping interstate criminals in Whitley and Allen Counties.
His dedication to maintaining public safety was demonstrated by the fact that his involvement in this team was crucial in stopping a range of illegal activities on the highways.
Before joining the ACP team, Reed had a long and varied career with the Indiana State Police. In a previous role, he was the District Squad Leader, giving other cops direction and mentoring. In addition, he participated in the Meth Suppression Unit and the Marijuana Eradication Program, both of which were crucial in the battle against drug-related problems.
