Mario Giddings Shooting; Toronto, Ontario Teenager, Mario Giddings Died in Labour Day Shooting
A gunshot that occurred in the northwest part of Toronto resulted in the death of a 15-year-old boy named Mario Giddings, according to the Toronto Police Department.
The adolescent was discovered in a plaza on Trethewey Drive at Black Creek Drive at approximately 7:44 p.m. on Monday, according to a press release issued by the Pennsylvania police department on Tuesday.
According to the press statement, a vehicle with a dark color was observed entering the plaza on that particular evening, and a gunshot was heard before the vehicle sped away.
Although Giddings was brought to the hospital, it was determined that he had passed away. During a press conference held on Tuesday, detectives stated that they believe Giddings was the target of many shots fired during the event when they were conducting their investigation.
Tuesday, law enforcement officers are searching the neighbourhood for footage from surveillance cameras. The investigators are requesting that anyone who may have information regarding the incident report it to them or get in touch with Crime Stoppers.
