Denise Prudhomme Cause of Death – Found Dead: Four days after scanning into work, a Wells Fargo employee was discovered dead at her Tempe, Arizona, workplace, according to the authorities.
Denise Prudhomme, 60, checked into work on Friday, August 16 at roughly 7 a.m., and she never left, according to the Tempe Police Department.
She was found dead on Tuesday, August 20, and the Tempe Police Department was notified by Wells Fargo’s on-site security. According to Sgt. Ryan Cook, Prudhomme was discovered by police on the third floor of the multi-story Wells Fargo building, in a cubicle.
Although the cause of death is still being looked into, police report that an initial inquiry turned up no clear evidence of foul play. Cook stated that an additional medical determination will be made by the Office of the Medical Examiner.
“It would make me feel sick to hear that she has been sitting at the desk like that,” an employee told ABC News 12. “And no one took action. She used her final hours in this manner.”
“Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones, and we are in contact to ensure they are well supported during this difficult time. We are committed to the safety and wellness of our workforce and are reviewing our own internal procedures after this event.
